The Event: Join us Virtually via the Zoom platform for a socially distant and safe MAA meeting
when we host local photographer Howard S. Muscott of Amherst for a presentation of his trip
photographing wildlife and landscapes in Costa Rica. Howard was in Costa Rica December 2019
where he was able to photograph many beautiful birds, monkeys and other wildlife and many of these
images will be included in presentation. He’ll share tips on Wildlife photography and answer questions.
The Speaker: Howard Muscott has photographed landscapes and wildlife for more than 40 years.
Grounded in his early years of hiking and backpacking, Howard’s love for landscape photography is
fueled by the exquisite beauty of the natural world and the wildlife residing there. Self-taught,
Howard has had more than 20 individual and 40 group shows. Howard’s work has been published on
the cover of national journals in education, in newspapers, and used on educational and other
websites. He has won awards for both wildlife and portraits. He was the Manchester Artists
Association Artist of the Year for 2020. You can preview his photography including a Gallery of
