“The Art of Daily Practice – Painting Every Day” –
As an artist who has an affinity for three different genres of painting, I found that my ideas
came quicker than I could paint them, leading to frustration and I ultimately lost the
spark. It was at the point I committed to painting daily that the artistic spark reignited.
Shawne is an artist working mainly in acrylic and paints still life, landscape and supernaturalist
paintings. Her day job as a graphic designer and marketing copywriter allows just enough physical
space in her office to paint on her lunch break and fulfill her commitment to daily (almost) painting. She shows
and sells her work locally and online and is a member of the Seacoast Artist Association.
At home in Laconia, NH she labors in ministry with her husband David, a pastor in the Congregational
Church.
