Things are moving along and hopefully we will have MAA up and running again.
Meetings
Good news! We will be returning to in-person meetings starting on Monday, September 12th. Meetings will be held at the Manchester NH Police
Department Community Room, 405 Valley Street, Manchester, NH, 7:00pm to 9:00pm. All the meetings will be on the first Monday of the month with the
exception of September. The dates are as follows: September 12th, October 3rd, November 7th, December 5th, January 2nd, February 6th, March 6th,
April 3rd, May 1st. “Artist of the Month” awards will resume so please bring your artwork for judging.
Speaker
We are pleased to announce that our speaker in September will be the well known regional artist, Byron Carr. Byron will present his watercolor skills in a
presentation entitled “Paint Till the Magic Happens”.
Exhibit Opportunity
More good news! MAA will be returning to the Massabesic Audubon Center in September. The exhibit entitled “Natures Beauty” will run from September 30, 2022 to November 29, 2022. The application is attached. The application deadline is September 15, 2022. Here’s a chance to show off those paintings
you did during COVID.
Dues
Now, the not so good, but necessary news. The organizations’ fixed expenses such as insurance, internet security and fees have continued to increase while the dues have remained the same. In order to keep up with these expenses, we need to increase the yearly dues, but only by $5.00. Starting on October 1, 2022, the yearly dues will be $40. However, you can save $5 if you pay your dues by September 30, 2022, when the dues will still be $35. Art Happenings in the Region (from NHAA)
