On Sunday, April 18TH, long time MAA member, Bill Earnshaw held an open house exhibit at his Bedford home of 18 mixed media paintings depicting the Parables of Jesus of Nazareth. The Parables are short stories used by Jesus to illustrate moral points and the kingdom of God. Included in the exhibit were the Good Samaritan, the Prodigal Son, the Sower and the Unforgiving Servant. Bill created the impressive works in his distinctive style using watercolor and colored paper. He worked on the Parables during Covid 19, starting in May or June of 2020 and finished six months later in December 2020. Working slowly, each piece took approximately two months to complete.
